To Migrate within
At the height of the 1956 Suez Crisis, a Nigerian intellectual working as a bus driver in London returns to his bare, lonely at, where he is confronted once again by the mysterious noises that have been troubling his building for weeks. A strange visitor invites himself into the at, and their meeting forces the Nigerian intellectual to confront his displacement and the other greater internal migrations that take place within migrants from the colonies, who live on the margins and dwell the imperial metropolis of London.
